Spanish bank borrowing from ECB falls in September
Spanish banks' net borrowing from the European Central Bank fell in September for the first time in a year, the Bank of Spain said Thursday.
Net borrowing dropped to 378.2 billion euros ($487.4 billion) in September from a record high 388.7 billion euros the previous month, a sign that the banks' dependance on the ECB for financing eased a little.
